The Andrea Mitchell Center is proud to announce its 2024-2025 undergraduate fellows: Ahmed Ahmed, Glynn Boltman, Taryn Flaherty, David Katz, Quishuo Li, Adelaide Lyall, Connor Nakamura, and Inaya Zaman. These students will work on their own research projects throughout the academic year and present their work at a student conference.

The Andrea Mitchell Center is proud to announce that Yara Damaj (PSCI) and Miranda Sklaroff (PSCI) have been selected as our graduate student fellows for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Joey Jung, senior at Penn, has recently been featured in an article of the Philadelphia Citizen. Jung was part of this year's Andrea Mitchell Center undergraduate seminar, where he conducted research on Community Benefits Agreements (CBAs) and how they are used to align community and developer interests in the establishment of large sports arena deals. Jung presented on this research on May 2nd at the AMC Undergraduate Conference.

The Andrea Mitchell Center for the Study of Democracy will award 2 graduate fellowships for the 2024-2025 academic year to University of Pennsylvania graduate students with approved prospectuses for dissertation topics in any discipline relevant to the study of democracy, its theory or practice, or related topics of citizenship and constitutional government.

"Four of Penn’s political groups participated in a debate hosted by the Penn Government and Politics Association on Monday.
GPA partnered with the Andrea Mitchell Center for the Study of Democracy to host the all-party debate in the auditorium of the Perelman Center for Political Science and Economics. Around 50 attendees watched representatives from Penn College Republicans, Penn Democrats, Penn for Liberty, and the Penn Young Democratic Socialists of America debate a variety of topics."
