The Andrea Mitchell Center and Penn Political Union are excited to hostDaleep Singhfor a conversation on geoeconomics and global economic statecraft, moderated by ProfessorItay Goldstein. This event is in collaboration with the Wharton Initiative on Financial Policy and Regulation.

 

Daleep Singh is Vice Chair and Chief Global Economist at PGIM Fixed Income and previously served as Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics, where he worked at the intersection of economic policy, national security, and global governance.

 

Drawing on his experience in both government and global financial markets, Singh will discuss the economic, political, and institutional forces shaping the global economy today. The conversation will explore how states use economic tools to advance strategic objectives and the tradeoffs involved in pursuing growth, stability, and security in an increasingly interconnected world.
