The Andrea Mitchell Center is pleased to offer both undergraduate and graduate fellowships for Penn Students.
These annual fellowships support University of Pennsylvania students whose research, writing, and public engagement explore the meaning, practice, and future of democracy—locally, nationally, and globally. The Center invites Penn students from all schools and disciplines to apply. Fellows will join a vibrant intellectual community dedicated to examining democratic institutions, political participation, social movements, inequality, governance, and the evolving challenges facing democratic societies. Throughout the year, fellows present their work in workshop settings, engage with leading scholars, and participate in the Center’s broader programming.
Please check back periodically to learn about available fellowship opportunities and application deadlines.
Applications for both undergraduate and graduate fellowships for 2026-2027 are OPEN.
