The Mitchell Center, in collaboration with the School of Social Policy & Practice, held the inaugural event of The Politics of Well-Being, our 25-26 Faculty Workshop Series. The event, titled Civil Society and Well-Being, featured Ram Cnaan, Femida Handy, and Katherina Rosqueta, moderated by Carleigh Douglas. The speakers discussed how nonprofit institutions, faith-based organizations, and philanthropic foundations contribute to — and sometimes complicate — efforts to improve public welfare in front of a lively audience.
