Join the Public Trust for 64 Days: The Insurrection Playbook, a documentary film by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Nick Quested on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 6-8:00pm. The screening will be followed by a public conversation with the filmmaker. Presented with the Andrea Mitchell Center for the Study of Democracy, the Department of Cinema & Media Studies, and the Penn Film Society at the University of Pennsylvania, and Goldcrest Films.

Focusing on the period between election night 2020 and January 6th 2021, 64 Days examines the nefarious Stop the Steal project, and shows for the first time how the effort to keep Donald Trump in power was a well-coordinated, highly organized, professionally funded and shockingly effective campaign that brought American democracy to the brink. Combining exclusive material shot while embedded with Proud Boys leader, Enrique Tarrio, along with interviews from the January 6th committee investigators and precise reporting, 64 Days highlights the post-election plot to subvert democracy that unfolded in plain sight.
