Online Event: Zoom

Join the Andrea Mitchell Center's Capitalism, Socialism, and Democracy's Series for a discussion with Anthony DiMaggio about media literacy, class, and democracy. We will explore questions such as "fake news," and how it can be countered through improved media literacy. We will also discuss the ways in which class inequalities intersect with media literacy, thinking about the ways in which producing a more equitable society could solve some of the problems with political education our democracy faces, more generally. Moderated by Heather Swadley.
