Ibrahim Bakri is the Associate Director of the Andrea Mitchell Center for the Study of Democracy. He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and a master's degree in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. Ibrahim's research interests include US-Middle East relations, international development, emerging economies, and post-conflict economic reconstruction. He is a Nonresident Fellow in International Relations & Development at TRENDS Research & Advisory in Abu Dhabi. He has previously served as Assistant Director of the Middle East Center at Penn, and has interned with the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) and the Foreign Policy Research Institute within the Program on the Middle East.
