Nursing Clio is an open access, peer-reviewed, collaborative blog project that ties historical scholarship to present-day issues related to gender and medicine. MORGAN TAYLOR, recent Penn graduate and 2020-21 Andrea MItchell Center Undergraduate Fellow, began researching the Black female maternal mortality crisis in the United States during her sophomore year as a Health and Societies major. This culminated in her senior honors thesis, completed while she was a Mitchell Center Fellow.
